What happens after I order?
  1. Once we have received your deposit and signed contract, a project coordinator contacts you via e-mail or phone (your preference) to go over your order. You may add any additional openings or accessories at this point if you wish.
  2. Your order is then submitted to the factory for fabrication.
  3. You receive your job # via e-mail or regular mail wherein you can check the status of your order from the convenience of your own home computer within a week.
  4. You receive your approval and permit drawings (if applicable) 2-3 weeks from the coordinator's contact. These are the documents you will need to get a building permit (if required).
  5. You receive (via certified mail) the expected "week of" delivery after your approval to move into scheduling/fabrication is received.
  6. You receive a phone call reconfirming your delivery schedule.
  7. You receive your building approximately 6-10 weeks from your order.
Why are these buildings priced lower than your competitors?

These particular buildings have been previously designed and sold directly to you without commissioned salesmen; therefore, the engineering cost and commissions have been deducted. In addition, we hope that you will appreciate the discount and refer your friends.

How come all of the other companies don't sell the way you do?

I cannot speak for other companies; however, we believe in the golden rule "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you".

Can I buy a building at the discounted price whenever I want to?

Though our company does not believe in high-pressure sales, I must inform you that the rates can change whenever the mill adjusts our prices. On the website is a timer that reflects the remaining time available for that particular sale.

Is this really a good price that I'm getting?

As you know, many factors impact the price of a steel building, including time spent by engineers and estimators, office personnel and sales staff, as well as the metal building materials themselves. In this metal buildings business (as any other), time is money.

Therefore we have dramatically reduced our prices/time by listing standard sizes, wherein we can eliminate the engineering cost and commissions. In addition to this, your willingness to place a $500.00 means we are only working with people who sincerely have an interest in purchasing a building.

Do you offer custom quotes?

If you need a custom quote go to: www.premiersteel.org. They have a wonderful estimating department and will do your quote in a timely manner (usually within 2 hrs).

How come there's more than one price for the same size building?

Each building is designed to meet certain code/load requirements. The range of code/load differences directly correlates to the price differences.

What if I have questions after I order this building?

You are welcome to speak with our customer service department Monday-Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, MST.

Can I be a dealer?

Many companies charge thousands of dollars for dealerships. Our firm does not believe in this. We are humbled when someone has an interest in selling our structures. Presently, there is only a $500.00 charge for a dealership. You can call (877) 283-9510 for further information.

What kind of certification comes with the building?

If requested, you will receive building plans stamped by an engineer certified for your state

Do you do custom buildings?

NO. If you need a custom quote, we will refer your lead to Premier Steel Buildings, Inc. Their website is: www.premiersteel.org. A courteous sates representative will contact you immediately. They will sell you a building at market rate. (They are an ethical company.)

What if I don't see my desired or required codes listed on your site?

Simply call (877) 283-9510 or email us.

Can I buy accessories with my building?

Once you have placed an order, a project coordinator will contract you via e-mail or by phone within 3 business days. You are welcome to purchase any additional accessories from him/her, at that time, if you like.

You are welcome to contact your project coordinator at any time during this process if you have questions or if he/she can be of any assistance.

Can I get my building/plans any sooner?

The market's standard time for plans is 2-3 weeks from a complete order. Your plans should be mailed within a 2-3 week time frame from the date you confirmed your order with the project coordinator. He will contact you within 3 business days of your order. If it is imperative that you have your plans sooner, less than 2 weeks can be arranged in some cases. We are going to community ship your structure (deliver when we have a full load) to keep the shipping cost low. The buildings are normally shipped 6-10 weeks from your order.

What is a project coordinator?

You probably have never purchased a building before; therefore, we assign someone your order that you can contact regarding any questions you may have after the order. He/she will be available Monday-Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, MST.

What is a completed order?

A full deposit as well as all documents have been signed, received and finalized with the project coordinator.

Do I need a building permit?

It will depend on your building department. Please call your local department.

Does this building meet my building code requirements?

Every building listed has a set of codes/loads posted. Please verify that these codes/loads meet or exceed your local code requirements. It is the customer's responsibility to verify code and load requirements!

What are your buildings made of?
  • Solid I-beam construction
  • 26 gauge 80,000 psi strength sheeting (resistant against dings and dents)
  • 1.25" high rib Roof & Wall sheeting (Resistant against movement caused by wind)
  • PBR/R panels (additional overlap stops any leakage)
  • Framed openings have C-section jambs and headers for easy installation of overhead doors (many manufacturers provide framed-opening-kits where you have to cut the opening in the field)
  • Fully trimmed at gable, corners and eaves for a more finished look and additional protection from dust and wind seepage (most manufacturers only provide trim at the eave)
  • Inner/outer eave foam closures
  • Engineer certification stamp (if requested), anchor bolt layout, approval drawings, & construction plans
  • Pre-welded clips for ease of erection (most manufacturers only supply the clips)
  • 100% U.S. made materials (our commitment to support American workers)

Can I add an additional framed opening?

Yes. A project coordinator will contact you within a few days of your order to add to or adjust your building. There may be an addition charge for adjustments.

Who erects the building?

It is the customer's responsibility to erect the building. We will send you plans within a few weeks of your order and you can have erectors bid on the construction. Because of the ease of erection, many of our customers erect the buildings themselves.

What about foundation plans?

The standard procedure in the industry is to supply you with 2 copies of permit and anchor bolt plans (an additional copy would cost $25.00). If you need certified foundation plans, that will be an additional $500.00-$800.00.

When and how do I pay off the structure?

You will pay the balance of the building upon delivery. Simply give the driver a certified check for the balance due.

Who unloads the building?

It is standard practice in the steel building industry for the customer to unload the structure. You will be informed well in advance when the building will arrive.

Is my deposit refundable?

No. We will make every effort to address all of you questions before you order. If you are not comfortable with anything, I would suggest not ordering.

Is there a consequence to cancel an order?

You will lose your deposit as well as be responsible for any additional charges that may have occurred.

What if something is missing or damaged?

Since these designs are standard, it is rare that this could occur. However, in the event that this does occur, please contact our customer service department. All issues are usually addressed within a week.

Does this company support any charitable organizations?

Yes. A percentage of the profits is donated to "Seeds for the Future". This is a non-profit organization that mentors children from 7-14 years of age.
